Waste Aluminum Wire Recycling Machine: Specialized Equipment for High-Efficiency Separation of Aluminum and Wire Core
Waste aluminum wire (such as the aluminum core in waste cables and wires) is a common recyclable resource, but it is often encased in a copper core and plastic sheath. Traditional manual stripping is inefficient and results in high losses. As a targeted processing device, the waste aluminum wire recycling machine can automatically separate aluminum, metal core, and plastic, achieving a recycling rate of over 99%. It is the core single-unit equipment in waste aluminum recycling lines and is widely used in small recycling stations and large waste aluminum processing plants.

I. Core Structure: Modular Design Adapted to the Characteristics of Waste Aluminum Wire
Mainstream waste aluminum wire recycling machines adopt a three-in-one structure of “feeding – stripping – sorting,” with core components comprising four major modules. The feeding module is equipped with a dual-roller driven feeder, with an adjustable-speed motor controlling the feeding speed (0.5-2 meters/minute), adapting to waste aluminum wires with diameters of 1-50 mm, preventing wire jamming. The peeling module is the core, employing a combination design of “blade cutting + crushing peeling.” High-speed rotating annular blades precisely cut through the plastic outer sheath, while synchronous crushing rollers separate the outer sheath from the aluminum wire. The blade spacing can be adjusted according to the wire diameter to ensure thorough peeling without damaging the aluminum wire. The sorting module combines airflow sorting and magnetic separation. The airflow device blows the lightweight plastic outer sheath into a collection bag, while magnetic rollers separate the copper core or iron wire from the aluminum wire, ultimately achieving three-category separation of aluminum, metal core, and plastic. The collection module has three independent hoppers to collect pure aluminum wire, metal core, and plastic waste respectively, facilitating subsequent processing.
II. Workflow: Processing a single waste aluminum wire in 30 seconds. The waste aluminum wire recycling machine has a simple and efficient operation process, requiring only three steps to complete the processing. The first step involves manual dismantling of bundled waste aluminum wire into individual strands, which are then fed into the feed inlet. The equipment automatically adjusts the feeding speed. The second step involves the wire entering the stripping module, where blades cut the outer sheath, and then a crushing roller separates the sheath from the aluminum wire. The resulting mixture enters the sorting module. The third step involves airflow sorting to separate the plastic sheath, followed by magnetic separation rollers to separate the metal core. Pure aluminum wire falls directly into the receiving hopper. The entire process requires no manual intervention; processing a single 10mm diameter waste aluminum wire takes only 30 seconds, and the equipment can process 50-100 kg of waste aluminum wire per hour.
III. Technical Advantages and Selection Considerations Compared to traditional processing methods, waste aluminum wire recycling machines offer significant advantages: First, they boast a high recovery rate, achieving 99% aluminum wire recovery and over 95% purity of the plastic sheath, allowing for secondary processing and reuse. Second, they have low energy consumption, with a single machine power of approximately 3-5 kilowatts, consuming only 30-50 kWh per ton of waste aluminum wire processed. Third, they offer strong safety features, equipped with overload protection devices that automatically shut down the machine when the wire jams, preventing motor damage.
When selecting a model, three core parameters need to be considered: First, processing capacity. Small equipment (50 kg/hour) is suitable for community recycling stations, priced at approximately 30,000-50,000 RMB; medium-sized equipment (100-200 kg/hour) is suitable for small factories, priced at approximately 80,000-120,000 RMB; and large equipment (over 300 kg/hour) is suitable for large-scale waste aluminum processing plants, priced at approximately 150,000-200,000 RMB. Second, the range of compatible wire diameters must cover common waste aluminum wire specifications for the enterprise. Third, sorting accuracy; priority should be given to equipment equipped with dual-stage sorting (airflow + magnetic separation) to ensure separation efficiency. In addition, the equipment must meet environmental protection requirements, with no dust leakage during the plastic separation process. Some high-end models are also equipped with noise reduction devices, making them suitable for indoor operation.
